Meet the Owner – Alger Vasquez
Finest Auto Repair started with Alger Vasquez, a highly skilled and passionate mechanic who has dedicated his life to the auto repair industry. Originally from Guatemala, Alger studied for three years to become a professional mechanic from 2004 to 2007. After working for a year in Guatemala, he moved to the United States in 2009 to pursue his dream of helping people through automotive repair.
Alger’s career took him from New Lots Auto Repair in Brooklyn, New York, where he worked for three years, to Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 2012. There, he gained further experience working at PS Automotive and KC Auto Repair. With years of expertise, Alger launched his mobile mechanic service, AL Mobile Mechanic, in 2021. Later that year, in November 2021, he established Finest Auto Repair, offering full-service auto repairs at fair prices.
Alger’s passion for auto repair stems from childhood: “Since I was a kid, I loved taking toy cars apart and fixing them. I’ve always loved working on cars because there is always something new to learn, especially with advancing technology.”
At Finest Auto Repair, we believe in the power of family and community. Alger’s wife, Angela, and their children – Daleyza, Elizabeth, Shary, Jared, and Adriel – are at the heart of everything he does. When Alger is not working on cars, he enjoys taking his kids to the park and church, spending quality time with his loved ones, and helping others in any way he can.
